I am preparing to apply for a passport for my 3-month-old infant. As the first step, I need to take his photo and on the IRCC website, this is what I have come across:

The following must be included on the back of one photo:
  • The name and complete address of the photo studio and the date the photo was taken.
  • Your guarantor must clearly write: "I certify this to be a true likeness of (applicant's name)" and sign (guarantor’s name and surname).
Isn't that too much to be on the back of a tiny photo? I mean, the back of a photo is not an A4-sized page!

Kindly share your experience, please!

Ans: Don't worry about this part, photo studios have stamps/seals with the right dimensions!
  • Your guarantor must clearly write: "I certify this to be a true likeness of (applicant's name)" and sign (guarantor’s name and surname).
Ans: My guarantor just signed, passport application was approved and passport issued...
