Landed at pearson Airport yesterday May 7th..
Got all the process cleared in 45 mns..
1. the immigration counter - need to fill and give the immigration form provided from the flight..
2. Immigration counter for new immigrants: checked my COPR, asked about my funds, address but no verification of funds made.
3. I was greeted at the third counter and was provided with booklets & headed towards my luggages..
4. Collected my luggages and went towards the customs counter. The man just asked my funds and had a glance at my Traveller's cheques and then let me go with warm wishes..
All in all it was a smooth process..
My friend came to pick me up and i stayed with him yesterday..
We went to see a basement apartment today and short listed one..will be moving tomorrow..
Will be taking Chatr prepaid mobile conctn tmrw& will be applying for sin as well as open bank account..
