Skilled Worker + OINP Median Wage Issue

I came to Canada with my family 18+ months ago under a temporary closed WP with an LMIA exception due to an FTA between Canada and my country. Now I want to apply to the PR as a Skilled Worker (NOC TEER 1) but I figured out that my current wage is under the median which is a mandatory requirement to apply to OINP, in addition, I’m 44 so I don’t receive almost any points because I’m quite old for the federal stream and this force my go through a Provincial nominee.
What could be my options if my employer refuses to level up my wage having a closed WP?

You would have to find a new employer. Or learn French. That should be a very viable option.
