Hi, I am completing the application section "Schedule 1 Background/Declaration" and the part to provide personal details for father is an issue for me. The reason for that is my father never declare me as his son and, I have been using my mother's last name from birth. Also, my mother is not alive and there isn't anyone on my mother side with that information. Please advise? Thanks.

If your birth certificate does not mention your father's details, then, it is going to be "unknown" for father's personal detail section. This should be accompanied with an affidavit explaning what you have to explain. I suggest that you may also provide a notarized copy of your mother's death certificate. I do not think that this would be a big issue.
