Sinp tech talent submitted pgwp expiring

Hello,

I submitted an application for the tech talent pathway Express entry last december. Yhe status in website is still showing application received. I called sinp yesterday and they said someone has been assigned to the case but noone has started looking yet.

My permit is expiring in the 10 days and other than applying for a fake work extension to get maintained work stafus, my only option is to apply visitor record (or leave canada) and wait till I get PR or lmia exempt work permit after nomination.

Are these my only options ?

So what does your employer say since you have JAL? What are processing times for SINP? You need nomination to get work support letter.

Other than the fact they are willing to wait months for my new WP since Miller removed flagpoling, nothing.

My lawyer didn't offer me the option for a fake extension even though I know its possible. Although I wouldn't take the risk since I do have some runway and my company is willing to wait.

Processing time is up 8 weeks from what used to be 4 weeks back when I applied in mid December.

So you and your employer know that even with work support letter, you cannot work. You still have to apply for work permit and wait for approval.

Yes hence the question if I'm missing anything. Othere are telling me to apply for fake extension and when I get nominated, I would then apply for a closed WP but this path is a grey area

Fake extension can be a bad idea since some are getting refusals within a few weeks, and then you are out of status in Canada. Your choice.

So have you been nominated? What is your NOC and SINP score? Is it selected in draws given PNP quotas are cut in half.
