SINP OID, Can apply through federal ExpressEntry?

Hi

I have got nominated under SINP OID. I am also now having an account in ExpressEntry pool.
I’m wondering is that possible to use my SINP OID nomination within my ExpressEntry to complete my federal PR process (which takes 6 months), or is it mandated to follow the paper-based federal process (which takes 16 months)?

Only paper based application. Only SINP EE goes through Express entry

As I am already in ExpressEntry pool, if I have an account for SINP EE, Is there anyway I request SINP office to transfer my nomination to EE stream?

no too. Once you have OID nomination, it has to go through the paper route

Do you think it worth to cancel my OID and wait for my EE file to be processed? Even if it takes 3 months, I think it still worth in terms of the time it will take for federal processing (6month vs 16month).

What you are considering is throwing away your bird in hand for 3 in the bush. You should not cancel an existing nomination for something you don't have. If you do get ITA via express entry, then you can consider cancelling, not before. My advice, go ahead with OID is if that's the only option you have

You are misguided.. OID processing in reality does not take 16 months..I know atleast 2 friends who got it in less than 6 months

when ?? did get your friends pr in less than 6 month if yes then was it definitely throu EE
as far as i know SINP OID is a paper based application
and CIC needs right now 16 month for the federal part

I sent an email to SINP , concerning this issue, but it leads to nowhere!
