Has anyone got nominations? by the way this is Nick from India, i have applied for SINP as a skilled worker with Job offer in May-2012. I got my file number in July-2012. i haven't got any news from there. can anybody tell me that still how much i time i will have to wait?

I don't think that processing time is about 12 months. We are waiting since June, 2011 in skilled worker category but no response yet except additional docs request.

Hi Powerbyj- Close to 2 years of waiting time under skilled worker category is way too long to be honest. I would suggest you speak with the SINP authority and check your status.
Many of friends are waiting with me. I applied from India. There are atleast 250 people waiting under SINP skilled category since April, 2011.
How about you? What did you apply for?

Powerbj - I applied last September under skilled worker category.
As you said many of your friends have been waiting for this long, did you call SINP and check with them as it 4 times the average time that they have mentioned on the website. If you did call what did they say?
Yes. Many of us called there. But didn't get any response than "Your application is in progress."

I called up SINP office few days ago and was informed that it is invariably taking lot more than the processing time posted on the website. About my status, she said it is in process and no doc required as of now. I think the timeline will shoot up on SINP website in its next update on 1st April, 2013
For everyone's information, my case was lodged online with SINP in July 2012, skilled worker with valid job offer.

It will take 12 to 18 months for full process. I applied in same month April, 2012. Last week my file status changed "In process" from "file received". You will get good news very soon. Good luck....
