I have been offered a position for work in Canada and work permit would be applied by the company.
I have a minor child and my marital status is still married, however we are living separately.

My question is that if I need to take the child to Canada when I am travelling, does it need consent by my husband too?

Please help as he is not agreeing for a consent.

What is your custody agreement? If no formal agreement and you don't have sole custody, then yes.

Yes, you would need your husband's witten consent.

1. To travel to Canada with the child you will need either his consent or a court order allowing you to take the child.
