Single Entry work permit

Hello All!

I have a single entry work permit and a multiple entry TRV. Because I have a multiple entry TRV, it makes me think I can go out of the country and come back as long as my work permit is valid. However, since my work permit is single entry I am confused regarding the exit and entry restrictions to Canada.

I will be grateful if anyone can shed any light on this!

Hi,

Work permit is your authorization to work and TRV is your authorization to enter/exit Canada.

As long as your work permit & multiple entry TRV are both valid you can exit/ enter Canada.
