SINGAPORE APPLICATIONS - AIP STAGE 1

HI,
I am Indian Citizen, residing in Singapore. Any Idea where are these applications processed at? I have heard a lot of refusals from Abu Dhabi Office, soo I am little dreaded that my file is being processed there. I received my AIP on 6th Aug, NON-SDS. However, I saw refusals after AIP for some PAK students, so i am worried!

I reside in singapore as well got AIP and in that letter its stated as singapore embassy only . so i think all applications from singapore are processed here. But VACs are open not sure when they are going send full approvals.

Yeah even i have been wondering why they haven't given us final decisions inspite of vacs being open. Btw, did you receive your AIP on email?? Mine got updated on GCKEY..the embassy location ain't mentioned on it :''(

I reside in Singapore as well. Received my AIP a couple of weeks back and it doesn’t mention where it is being processed!

I don’t think we should worry much as apparently there was a glitch so who knows

Mine got. updated in gc key as well .. you are right its not mentioned in the letter about location

So where did it say Singapore embassy??

another dependent application i got request for more documents in that it was mentioned singapore embassy

Interesting! What’s your timeline like and did you receive any medical/police clearance requests?
Also the VAC in Singapore is operational

Applied — June 15th
Biometric letter - June 16th
Medical request letter - July 8th
Biometric appt - July 15th
Medical appt- July 16th
Eligibility around : 22/23 July
Medical passed - July 30th
In principle approval- Aug 1st

no police clearance.. still waiting since then for any update.. i applied with family 2 kids and sowp guessing the reason its slow..

I've applied quite long back in June

Yeah! Was an Aug applicant so I guess I’ll receive it the medical request a months time.

Nope, nothing yet. I don't know why they haven't started Stage 2 here, considering the vacs are open here!

i was wondering the same thing that post sep 15th they will start full processing. looks like more waiting time. hoping since Singapore is now treated as safe country they at least allow from Singapore to Canada
