Of course, I understand I need to take a minimum specified amount with me. But I still have 6 to 7 months yet to go to Canada and I will accumulate required funds later.

You can use it, your next worry should be showing it at POE ..Btw, why do you want to use it, let it earn you some good interest !

Of course you can use, that is your money but you need show same amount of money when you arrive at PoE.

you may use them, its your money, just make sure you have enough for the landings formality
