SIN Change with COPR but not completed landing

I have a question. I have received COPR but I have not done landing and do not plan to do it till Dec 2015.
But can I change my SIN by providing COPR as proof of PR till then? As of now, I have work permit and SIN starting with 9.

No. You are NOT a PR until you have completed your landing. For now, you are just a foreign national on a work permit.

Its your personal business but if anything happens between now and your landing date that changes your eligibility for PR then your COPR/ landing could end up not materializing. Best land and make up the 3 months down the line.
