Hi. I am flying to Canada with my family next month with PR. I wanted to know is it necessary for the primary applicant to be present if the dependent has to apply for SIN and health card. Since I am the primary applicant and I’ll be flying back after four days of stay in Canada and my husband William2 be staying back. Any info would be of great help
Can you guide me the procedure to be followed to get a health card made? How long is the procedure?
The link mentions that we need to show 153 days in Ontario to be eligible for it. Does that mean that cannot immediately apply for

If your dependant is minor (like a child), then I yes, you will have to be present (or the other parent or a legal guardian). If your dependant not capable to do legal acts and you are his appointed guardian, then you have to be present. otherwise it is not needed.
