Signing consent and declaration for dependent child application

Hi,

My online application for sponsoring dependent child has been returned with the objection:

Consent and Declaration:
A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of a dependent child under the age of 18 when a signature for this person is required

As much as I remember, I wrote the name of my daughter (PA) when electronically signing the form. Can someone clarify if that was wrong? Should I write my own name wherever electronic signature is required?

Should I write my own name wherever electronic signature is required?

Yes. As the parent of a minor, you should be signing on their behalf everywhere their signature is needed.

Hello, can you please provide details what exactly did you change to have this fixed? I also got a similar rejection letter for my child’s sponsorship application

The last part of application which is consent and declaration before you submit application through the portal you put your full name, not the child if he or she is a minor.. the child can not sign, so you (the parent ) sign
