I sent my full documents to CHC SINGAPORE in Feb 2010, my wife (accompanying spouse) was unemployed at that time, and she started working from July 2010. We did not update the CHC at that time or did not sent any documents.
We have received the MR in June 2012. During the Medical Examination Doctor filled a medical questionnaire and asked two questions: What's your current professional, and what is your intended profession in Canada. We answered Teacher.
I am going to send updated PCCs and latest photos to SINGAPORE CHC soon. So my question is should we inform the CHC SINGAPORE of this update in employment now (after almost two years). Can this be a problem if i inform or do not inform.
Re: Should we notify CHC SINGAPORE about spouse's new job
Hi awai
Thanks for your input. Yes her job experience is not adding to the points, but my concern is that in the Medical Examination we said that she is a Teacher.
Doctor asked it during filling the Medical Report IMM5419.
- Occupations/activities in last 5 Years
- Intended Occupations/activities in Canada
We answered Teacher for these two questions and he wrote that an answers to these questions.
While filling the form in Feb 2010 i write her occupation as Unemployed. Can VO match these two entries and say that we mis-represented the information?
As tomorrow I am planing to send PCCs and latest photos, I can write a letter to VO informing about her job but it will be after two years of her starting the job.

check your 2nd AOR, I think it says, inform VO about PA's status changes not the accompanying spouse. unless Child Birth or something. To be in the safe side send VO the details of your spouse with a reference letter from her employer along with a cover letter explaining the situation. as the points won't be a matter and you alreday got MR, I do not think it would be problem.
Re: Should we notify CHC SINGAPORE about spouse's new job
Hi mute_man,
Thanks for your answer, in the letter with MR they have written that it is the responsibility of the applicant to inform the VO of any changes address, contact numbers, marital status or employment or education status. They have not explicitly mentioned for "PA or spouse" or for both. I think i should inform the VO.
