My Wife soft landed in Canada as PR. She is working full time in India and will be returning in 3 weeks. We are not taking License or Health card now. But I am confused whether she needs to apply for SIN now or when she returns to settle for good.
Will she taking SIN affect my tax returns next year as I may have to declare her as a 'Resident for Tax Purposes' in my returns ?

The SIN should be obtained as soon as possible.
Just having a SIN doesn't affect your tax liability.
Thanks for your reply zardoz.
