Hi all,
The ND VO instruction instructs to send the transcripts in selaed university envelope and degree certificate issued by university along with other documents. Is it required to send the original Degree certificate ?
passport pages of all family members - Should those copies be notarized ?
To the best of my knowledge you don't need to send the original academic certificates to VO but only have to sent the certified true copies (a certification that the photocopy being made truely from the original copies). The certification can be done by some nominated person like Justice of Peace, Notary public (Refre to CIC application guide/manual)
The passport copies also need to send as certified copies or notarized (Pl go carefully through the visa office specific application guide (you can download from CIC web page and it has all you need)

Thanks Fariza for the response. Now my question to Indians. Does the New Delhi VO mandate the passport copies to be notarized ?
The VO instruction just says passport copies. Also on academic cerificates, it says "Degree certificate provided by university AND mark lists in university sealed envelope" . So its not very clear whether they are asking for originals. From boarders who have already submitted the application, just wanted to check this again.
@ Ynet
So far I know CHC don't expect rark sheet but they want one to send academic transcript in Uni sealed envelope... You can contact your uni and there must be some system of issuing transcript in sealed envelope either directly to your nominated address (CHC) or to your address which you can forward to CHC

ND VO needs copies of all the pages of pp; the valid and the expired ones; and they need to be notarized. Original university sealed transcripts or notarized copies of the same; notarized copies of credentials/ certificates (not originals). Original reference/ experience letters.

In the initial application to the CIC, we need to send the Bio-data pages of the principal applicant, should that also be notarized ? Or only VO's need the passport copies notarized ?
