Should I wait to get an approval from CAQ or go ahead and apply for Student VISA

Hi All,

I am doing the student application process on my own, so I am very confused about certain things like, what are the right steps, when to do what etc (generic but important steps).

So I have applied for CAQ (Certificate of Acceptance to Quebec) and sent them the university offer letter and other documents they needed. Now my question is should I wait for that approval and then apply for the VISA or I can go ahead and apply it?

You don't need the original CAQ to apply for visa, BUT you do need to have the approval letter (it usually takes 1 month from the date of sending application for you to obtain this)
