I have a valid Indian passport (issued in 2015 and valid till 2025). My previous passport got stolen in Austria in 2014. My current passport mentions "Previous passport reported lost" on one of the information pages. I have scans of the first and last pages of my previous passport, as well as an FIR-style report from the Austrian police registering my complaint about the stolen passport (it's in German though). Would it be prudent to submit these documents alongside the scans of my current passport? Reasons for not wanting to do it - I don't want to provide extra unnecessary information.
