i read in many posts that people said the 1112 cap is already been filled and recommend to apply under the new express entry, but i don't have a job offer in canada so i think my chance of getting thru express entry is pretty low. in this case, should i give the current 1112 a shot at least?
1112 has two sub-categories - financial analyst and investment analyst. If you fall under the second category, in some cases it may be possible to apply under 1113. This is what I have done, though I would highlight that in my case 1113 is a very strong fit with my job description.
