I had done my medicals when my spouse applied for express entry. It is valid till 30th April’18.I have received my ITA and ready to submit the application. However I am not sure whether I need to redo another medical test.
Is it ok to have two tests against the same passport number? I am aware that medicals need to be valid till i land in Canada and seeing the timeline i highly doubt that the application processing will be done by April. I called the medical centre and they told me that your previous test is still valid and there’s no need for another one.

(i think you're going to end up redoing them. even if you submit now and it takes you 2 months to process your application and get PPR, you'll need more time to get your passport stamped and to prepare for landing. i'm not sure whether cic will request a newer test in all cases. not sure how they proceed in that regards.
As I mentioned earlier, my spouse applied for express entry in April last year. I was declared unaccompanying then.but i had to do my medicals as u know it is a requirement irrespective of accompanying or unaccompanying.

oh alright so i presumed your now applying on your own as you mention you got an ITA? i've read some people got an extension on their exams result date. maybe wait and see what happens?
1. You can't redo your medicals as long as your current report is still valid. The eMedical system will not accept a new medical anyway.
2. You don't need to redo your medical as long as it is valid at the time of application submission.
3. IRCC may choose to extend your medicals validity or ask you to redo it.
So, you'd better submit now and wait for further instructions from IRCC. Your application might be even approved before the expiry of your current medical, who knows!
Good Luck!
