My partner and I applied outland (London, UK) in December 13th. I passed my medical exam on the 3rd of Marcg. We haven't had any information/updates from the CIC since the end of March.
Long story short, due to work commitments on my partners side, we had to move to Canada in mid May, quicker than anticipated. I had no issue at all at the border and the agent even wished us good luck with the CIC! We have linked our application and receive all information via email, however I realised that I have not changed our address from UK to Canada. Should I contact cic and do so? Should I order GCMS notes for a peace of mind?

As per several threads in the forum, processing time for London visa office is slow. My advice would be to wait & mentally prepare yourselves till December.
Ordering GCMS notes doesn't affect your application in any way. Although, GCMS notes helps you to provide an insight into current state of application.
