Should I cancel my BOWP application? I have received my PPR and have already sent my passport for visa stamping.
My current work permit is valid till June 17, 2015.
I was just a little hesitant about cancelling my BOWP because, after all, the process is not complete yet and something may still go wrong, right?
I talked to a CIC call center representative and she said that they cannot cancel it because I have not received my passport back yet and have not completed the landing process.

CIC agent is correct. Your status in Canada does not change until you do the landing. So wait for your passport to be back and then complete landing. You can then cancel the application.
Its just a matter of couple weeks and will not affect anything.
No, I am not talking about cancelling my current work permit, which is valid till June 17, 2015. I am talking about the recent Bridging Work Permit application that I applied for almost 1.5 months ago. It has not been approved yet, so I thought I may get my money back if I cancel my BOWP application before it gets approved by CIC.
