Hi
I came to Canada on visit visa and I recently applied for work permit and got approved.
1) So if I want to go to my home country, should I apply for a TRV or can I travel using visit visa?
2) If I have to apply for TRV, how many days will it take after applying, for getting TRV confirmation and passport getting stamped and receiving the passport back?
3) Also along with work permit I applied for PR on July 31st and on dec 7 I gave medicals and passed. So how many more days it might take to get COPR? Because if it does not take more than a month I will wait for Copr and then apply for 1 time entry visa using Copr.
Thank you very much for replying.
TRV and visit visa are the exact same thing

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
But I got work permit recently, so I cannot travel on visit visa right? I have to apply a new TRV right?

No. A TRV is a TRV. You will not be issued a new TRV while you still hold a valid one.
