Guys I received my MR today but wanted to know if I should apply for a second BOWP as my current one expires on May 22. I want to know if the whole thing can be completed within 2 and a half months. I have called 2 doctors last week and the earliest date for appointment in Toronto was mid/end of march. So, what do you suggest?

The thing is that its not about 150 dollars , I am very lazy fillig out forms, taking pics and applying for a new WP altogether and also I think it might create confusion as they will be able to see I received MR.

what do you guys think?

Thanks

Nobody (even CIC) can tell you whether you would become PR by then or not. The safe thing to do is to apply for a new BOWP.

Thanks.^^ but I was asking for average time/experience for the last two steps.

So if the average looks good, then are you going to risk it and not get a BOWP? You should apply now and then you can relax and not be worried about the process.

Apply for it.

Are you from a visa exempt country?
What's the current BOWP processing time?
I'd get everything ready for BOWP / forms, pics etc and apply online - around the time of the processing times. That way you are covered if you don't get COPR in time

Btw - call dr Lyndon mascarenhas in toronto - he has good availability usually.

Francis Li (Pape Subway Station) does Walk-In Assessments. I suggest you go there weekdays. Prepare $250 in cash.
