Should I Accept A Job In Quebec?

Hi,

I am being offered a contract job for 1 year in Quebec and the employer is ready to do the visa paperwork. However, my Express Entry PR application is under process.

Will accepting this job affect my PR application? Should I refuse the job offer?

Assuming you end up moving to Quebec before your PR application gets approved then it would make it challenging to prove your intention to reside outside the province of Quebec.

Thats true. But even if the contract says its for 1 year? Won't that suggest that I do not plan to settle in Quebec?

Somehow I don't think CIC will see it that way either. Contract jobs can be extended or made permanent positions.
