Shifting from NOC 2174 (programmer) to NOC 0213 (manager)?

My current job experience fits under NOC 2174 (Computer Programmers). However, my duties have been gradually shifting towards NOC 0213 (Computer and information systems managers), for which the prerequisites state "Several years of experience in [...] computer programming, including supervisory experience, are required."

I plan to apply to the FSW using NOC 2174, since this carries the bulk of my experience to date. However, I would like to know what would happen if I later applied for a job that falls under a management role (0213). Would this be monitored? Would this cause any issues down the road?

I dont think so. People will not stick to their original NOC through out their life. They need to grow up. Once PR is given there is no restriction on which NOC you are doing your job. However in some province some NOC jobs are regulated for e.g Saschawen
