I thought it would be helpful if we share the timeline of our applications here so everyone would be able to tell how long their applications would take approximately.

My timeline,

Applied on OCT10,
I’ve been asked to submit additional information on NOV25, provided the additional information on DEC 3.

And still waiting and dying to know the final decision.

Applied online from Saudi Arabia by the way.

Physical Doc. reached Quebec 22/Oct/2018
Doc. received update 22/Nov/2018 (mid night)
CAQ online approve 23/Nov/2018 (mid night)
Biometric Appointment 28/Nov/2018
Submit Paper Application 28/Nov/2018

Yes, my application did pass norm processing times - 8 weeks. I did contact them but no reply

Usually to refuse an application they take 14-20 days so since your application has taken this long as a glimmer of hope you’ll likely pass

Hi,
I am looking for jannuary intake.
I have sent CAQ file at 5th of Nov n reached to them on 11th of Nov
On 14th of Dec recieved my CAQ.
Now i was not aware of medica so done it on 16th Dec
I thought i should give time for medical update so i applied on 21st Dec for visa.
Got biometric letter on 22nd of Dec.
Took appoint at VFS on 23rd n got updated in my file on the same day.
Now waiting for medical update.


How did u provided ur biometrics if ur file was not opened?
Could u tell me how much time they will take to update my medical status?

It took almost 2 months.
I applied on 21st of Dec but medical was done on 16th of Dec. I was wondering why they are not uploading my medical status till now. I m from India

Did they ask for your passport after medical clearance?
