I’m planning to apply Manitoba nominee under general stream.I want to know some clarification about settlement fund
1)According to site they ask 10000$ main applicant and 2000$ for each dependent.I’m have 3 family members(me+spouse+1 childe). If I put 14000$ my bank account submit bank statement is it ok? Or that amount should keep 3 months(they asking 3 month bank statement)and then get the bank letter?
I open my bank account 2-3 months ago because I have other account with my before marriage name.

Hello. I have read your mail, however, I would like to advice you to have funds a bit above the required settlement funds, for instance, around $14,500 to $15,000Cdn. This will cover you and your 2 accompanying dependants. It is much safer.
Secondly, the transferable settlement funds should be in your name and / or in the name of your spouse. The name(s) on your passport or travelling documents should also be the names on your bank statements or proof of the settlement funds.
