Anyone planning to apply for visa in September2018 intake , put your no. Here so that we can start a WhatsApp group and help eachother with offer letters ,

I am also planning for Sep 2018 intake. Can anyone please tell me what is this SPP program for Indians? Any help would be appreciated.

In the spp program you need to have 60% + marks in 12th overall and in individual subjects as well . And if you have done something else like bsc or btech or any other course , in that also you must have 60%+ to be eligible in applying under spp category. You also need to have 6 band overall and not less than 5.5 in any individual module .
There are 41 spp colleges in Canada in which you can apply and avail the benefits of spp category.
You need to open a GIC account of 10,500 CAD and show the visa officer 1st semester funds of your course.
That's all u need to be eligible for applying under SPP category

@Priyavart Rajain.

Many thanks for the reply. But my new question is this:

I have got 65% in class 12 (scored 50 in Maths, need to apply for 1sem additional Maths ) and 54.9% (my bad!) in btech.

IELTS is not I am concerned of, these are my low scores of graduation. Do you think that college will accept my profile if I apply under NON SPP?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can still get visa under spp category provided you mention the strong reasons why your scores are low in a SOP to convince the visa officer. You can get admission in non spp as well...but in spp category...students just need to open a GIC account having 10500 dollars.....that's it...students donotneed to show bank statements income tax returns or any kind of funds...but u will have to show all these things under non spp
