Didnt have a UCI and submitted by mail so couldnt even link it...just got into the app now and it said they sent an email dev 31st (bs) and then on jan 3rd (which was the med request...so apparently if you dont get your medical results within 5 days they send u a final request??

Well I just checked ecas and on sponsor side it says decision made !!!!!! Finally SA. No email yet but I have read this is normal . Finally things are moving again. This is our week to everyone waiting

It is 30 days for meds.

ok. Three of us here: you, mixed, and myself. It is helpful to know that you are not the only one. I understand that after medicals are done, everyone's pace is really different as it depends on the Visa Office. But until then, it is logical that apps are processed in sequence, plus-minus a couple of days. So I am always concerned when people whose applications were received by Sydney after mine, getting their stuff earlier than me.
Just because what if...their misplaced my file or something similar...lol.

I am also a Dec. 17th AOR and was thinking it was odd not to have SA yet. I can't seem to get through when I call to inquire, but the automated message says "eligibility review hasn't started yet" and my app was in process on Dec 13th as per GCkey. No idea what is going on, I will keep trying to reach them to see what the hold up is. All the best to all of you!

Same here. Process started on Dec 12 and nothing yet.
I think it's completely random how they work in files.

I keep checking this thread for an ounce of hope. I guess it is easier when there are more of us in the same boat, but still... a lot of days, my heart just aches for all of us waiting so long to be with our loved ones. Doesn't seem fair, but what to do. We must have patience.

Hello all, I know most have you have already gone through the process of getting documents together and sending them off. I have a question about legalization, PA is from Nicaragua. We will be sending a photocopy of both our ID's to show same address do these have to be legalized with a seal, also the photocopy of his passport?

I'm only asking because technically these are official documents and we don't want to mess this up. We will be getting his true copies of birth certificate and police records sealed so wanted to know if the others need it as well.

I don't believe you need to notarize copies of ID and passport, unless CIC specifically asks for this. It is primarily documents that are not in English or French that require translation and a seal, but check your "country specific requirements" in case Nicaragua has different rules.

I am nov 26 AOR, no SA and no medical request. I assume it vary case by case basis.

Wow. Have you contacted CIC at all? I would be calling them every day... that is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for SA, unless there really is something missing in the application or there is a big reason why it is being delayed. Otherwise, I really don't understand why a simple thing like reviewing eligibility and doing a BGC on sponsor has to take that long. I hope your status changes very soon, so you can be at peace.

I submitted mine in the end of June and they received in the end of July but I just got my application number 3 weeks ago. Don’t worries
