Congratulation!!
It seems that was very fast!!

My Canadian Citizenship application was returned for the reason that my passport or travel document do not cover the 6 year period preceding the date of application. Here is a bit of the detail of what I have provided them: Photocopies of
Old passport: issued on 2007 and expired on 2012
New passport: issued on 2015 and will expire on 2020
There is a 3 year gap between my two passports. I did not leave Canada since I came on 2011. What other document should I submit to fill in the gap between my two passports? Please help. Thanks you.
hi there thanks for starting this topic first of all. n Bojo whose application is returned due to expired passport don't stress happened recently with someone I was helping just send the cover letter explaining why passport is not renewed in my friend's expired on July 2014. Read the instruction guide, you need to provide a letter explaining the gap:
"3. Biographical page of passport(s)/travel document(s)
The biographical page means the page that has your name, photo, passport/travel document number, issue date and expiration date.
Provide photocopies of the biographical pages of all passports and/or travel documents (valid and cancelled) for the six (6) year period immediately before the date of your application, or since you became a permanent resident, whichever is more recent.
Also, provide photocopies of any renewal pages of the passport(s)/travel document(s).
Note: If your passports and/or travel documents have any gaps in the time they cover during the past six (6) years, or since you became a permanent resident, whichever is more recent, attach an explanation.
Note: If any of these documents are no longer in your possession, attach an explanation."
