I want to get admission in senecac college in Post graduate Diploma.(Database Application developer).
My Ielts Score is overall 6 Band.
With one score is 5.5.
senecac require 6.5 overall.
Please tell me is that good to take chance on this IELTS score or repeat my IELTS.

I mean no harm in trying, if they reject you than you can repeat your IELTS. But I do think that the visa officers likes applicants with a higher IELTS score.

Hi,

As far as I know, DAD is a very competitive program and requires a portfolio/admission test due Mar 2011 (for Sep 2011 batch).

You may want to check with Seneca Int. admission department for clarification.

I think that you should try IELTS once more because they are very strict while selecting candidates as seneca is a very reputed college.

seneca takez about a month or more to deliever offer letter so itz better to go through your ielts before..or apply for one more college

They have clearly mentioned the MINIMUM requirements for Graduate Certificate program on their website.

• Overall band of 6.5
• No single test score below 6.0

I don't see a reason why would they overlook/waive-off this requirement for you, especially when they are so many qualified students eager/available to get admission ?

Its better to apply when you meet minimum requirements.
