sending unrequested documentation to cpc mississauga

Hi everybody
quick question. Does anybody know if it's possible to send unrequested additional documents to cpc-M? My mom (canadian) is sponsoring me. We made an online application and I personally sent EVERY required document sometime last week. Then unfortunately my mom's credit card got stolen a few days back,and now she has a new one. The old one got cut! This means we have to make a new online payment right? Say we do make payment,how do i submit the new receipt to cpc-M? I mean how do i even begin explaining all this to them? Please reply ASAP seniors

Why do you need to repay the fees? Online payment means the money is taken from the account associated with the card. The card got stolen, but the account is the same, isn't it?

If you already did an online payment that went through, you won't have to do another one. Think about it...do you have to go back to all the places you used your card before it got stolen and repay them again???

oh im sooooo relieved,thank you so much for your replies:-*. Honestly,i was about to lose it. One more thing,when we sent my application,my mom was in south africa (my home country) for my granny's funeral. She went back to Canada though. Because she was sooo busy,i had to personally send the documents to mississauga. Well,it's written all over this forum that it's the sponsor that must send the documents not the person being sponsored. How will this affect my application? I know this is a stupid question and i'm sorry,but i'm just pretty nervous and need to make sure that everything was done correctly

Your earlier posts indicated you didn't go through a medical exam and werent declared as a dependent when your mom did her original PR app. If this is true it would make you ineligible to be sponsored by her now.

Did you ever clarify this with her, before sending in your app?

Good to hear, lucky for you!

Oh and to answer the question, it doesn't matter how the application package arrives in CPC-Mississauga, as long as it got there. If you used a courier service you should have seen on their online tracking service that your package was successfully delivered and signed for.

They usually don't process your credit card right away so I would call the call centre and ask. If they cancelled your mothers' previous credit card, it will have a new number. If you don't do that it would look bad if they tried to process it & it didn't go through.

If they made the payment using the online site, the transaction would have been authorized and done instantly. So it doesn't matter what happens to the credit card after that.
