Sending signatures on form as scanned electronic copies.

Hello everyone,

thanks for looking into my question. Currently my sponsor lives in Canada while I am here in pakistan. I missed a signature on one of my forms and I am being asked to sign and mail that page. It will take couple of weeks for that page to reach Canada. To cut the time, Is it ok for me to send the signature part of my form, as a scanned copy through email? Will it be acceptable? Has anyone ever done this before and what were the results for doing this?

CIC expects an original. You can certainly try emailing a scanned copy - however you will need to make sure you send the original via mail as soon as you can. CIC may very well hold off further processing until they get the original.
