Sending original documents like birth certificate and educational for IMM 3907

Hi, im applying to sponsor my spouse for immigration from pakistan.
Im living in canada and he is in pakistan.
IMM 3907 application says my spouse needs to provide his original education and birth certificate.
Is it necessary to send originals bucause thesw docs are used for other things. Can we give photocopies??And if i do send originals do i get them back after application is approved??

If your guide says that you must submit originals, then that is what they expect of you.
For the countries that request original documents, they will return them to you after the process is complete.
