We submitted our application before joining this forum. After reading through the posts, we feel we did not submit enough evidence to support our application eg. text messages were not sent. The file has already been transferred to the VO. I have a number of questions:
1. Is it advisable to send more information even though the VO has not asked for it?
2. If it is advisable, should we upload it as a case specific inquiry or send in paper copies to the VO?

You can send in more evidence. Make sure both names are on it, both birthdates, and the file number if you have gotten it.
Many times people will say not to bother, because if the visa officer wants more evidence, they will ask for it before refusing an application. Unfortunately, the visa officers in Accra sometimes ask for this additional information at the interview, which you want to avoid. So for this visa office, I do think it is fine to send in more evidence. Either way you mentioned would be OK.
