Hi Everyone, I have my CoPR and would be landing in Canada in 2nd week of February. As I have all my funds in my India account, I will be bringing some cash converted in CAD and some amount in a Forex card. The rest of the amount would still be in my Indian account. I was thinking if I can add my mother as a joint member of the account so that she can transfer the money once I have opened a Canadian bank account.
My question is that this is the same account which I have shown for the proof of my funds. Will adding a joint member now create an issue at the time of landing? I mean the account would not be owned solely by me. Was planning to take a copy of the account statement as well when I land for the first time.
