I applied for citizenship in May, the status of my application is "In Process". I was unemployed for a long time, more than one year! So I'm expecting to get RQ. Now I'm planning to send additional documents to support my application, like all pages of passport, lease agreement, pay stubs! Do you think It is ok to send those documents to CIC even though CIC has not requested those documents yet?
no dont send any additional docs if they didn't ask……if you get the RQ they will ask all of those docs anyway……who knows they might not even send you the RQ……its ok to be unemployed..it doesn't matter. Being employed is not a requirement to get citizenship
