Self employed foreign work experience

Hi I am applying for Express Entry through CEC and declared foreign work experience, which gave me more points. One problem is that one of my foreign work experience is self-employed, I have a signed valid contract but after the engagement the employer did not pay me the full agreed upon amount due to reasons outside of my control. I met the requirements, but they refuse to pay the amount. Does this still count as valid foreign work experience?
