NOC Code......: 5243
App. Filed.......: 04/03/2014
Doc's Request.: 07/30/2014

Med's Update..: 10/20/2014
Interview........: waived
DM: February 13th
Passport Req..: ????????????
I got the 4th line updated as "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" on February 13, but i have not received any PPR request. I am a little worried. Anybody have any idea on within how many days one should get PPR mail after having status updated to DM in ECAS? What can we do now?
Thanks in advance for assistance.
Hello, friend
Are you sure you are applying under the "self-employed" category? looks like you are under FSW skilled worker stream given you have a NOC code which self-employed applicants do not have.

I am 100% under the "self-employed" category, my NOC is 5243 theater, fashion, exhibit and other creative designers in cultural activities. Total 10 month (delay with FBI report 4 month), not a bad ha! I read many others forums to try to found some information about this category. Also I read all your posts! Finally I did it, God bless us all!

Hello, Orima
This is such an encouraging news for everyone. A big congratulations to you
However I have been anxiously waiting for the progress of my case. Hope the good news will come to me eventually!
I guess you are from USA, so you are able to apply from Ottawa office. The processing speed in Ottawa is the fastest while in Hongkong is so slow. And you are so lucky that your interview was waived. However most applicants in Asia are requested to attend interview.
Anyway, you are so lucky! God bless everyone here! Hope our dreams all come true!

Hello,
My timeline on the left.

I did an assessment apartment which costs $ 70,000 and I showed bank statement for 6 Months ~ the amount of money you need to support your family is set by the size of your family (this is the minimum). And yes, Income tax for 5 years and my goods (like a sewing machines...) in business plan. I hope it is helpful. Thanks and will be HAPPY!
for everyone who can understand the Russian language follow the link (very useful):

Hello Orima,
Congratulations,

I'm sure you're enjoying settling in Canada.
if you don't mind, what total funds you needed to have/show for self employment permit ?
and education level ?
did you process the application by yourself or with representative ?
lastly, which online site you used for your application ?
thanks and good luck,
Shiko.

Hello,
Thank you!
About funds you can read it on my previous post
Education, I think it doesn't matter which education level you have (I have bachelor degree in engineering), for self- employed the most prioritized thing is your skills (I have 14 years experience in costume designer).
All application we did ourselves (My husband and I).
We used CIC web site.
Good luck for all...
