Document checklist requests to send 2 self addressed labels..is this a requirement still because the application guide does not say anything about this??
Its on the document checklist, so yes, I guess it's required.
However, did you guys print your own labels or had Canada Post print them?
How does that work?
I got the labels from Dollarama & printed my address on them using my inkjet printer. This one is no big deal - don't sweat about it wondering if you should send it or not. They just want to stick the label on any return mail communication instead of having to write your address.
I have the left over labels with me & I use them for 'from address' on mails I send
You can simply print it on a A4 size sheet and send that sheet along with the application.
They dont use the original labels you send. They always make a copy on their own labels and use them. So, nothing to sweat about..
Do you even need the labels if they communicate through primarily email if it is provided? When I sent my application in i didn't include them. The only time i see them actually using the mailing labels is to send back your application if its incomplete.
Yes, I think they need the labels to mail your application back to you. But
they also might send other documents if something with your email address is wrong or not working, I guess...
So better to include the labels as it's required and mentioned on the checklist.
