Just wanted to ask few quick questions. Is there a difference between the Student Visa and Study Permit? Also, do we have to go through any other formality about the Student Permit on arrival in Canada. Lastly, is the validity of the Study Permit mentioned on the Approval Letter from the High Commission and Stamped Visa the same?

Study permit allows you to study in Canada but Study visa is stamp on your passport for travel purpose. You will get study permit when you reach first time at Canadian airport. Yes study permit validity is mention on approval letter.
