Security checks and criminality checks for files transferred to Ottawa

For all the guys whose files were transferred after the medicals were done,has buffalo already initiated the the security checks and then transferred the files?will Ottawa office open our files and then initiate the checks?if buffalo has not initiated the checks,then we are looking at another 4 months of wait for ppr.

If buffalo office had not gotten closed we would have gotten our ppr by now.

I also asked my self the same question.But,remember that a lot of people received PPR from Buffalo before they closed down.I personally congratulated some of them.If they asked you for medicals in Jan,Feb,March, i think they started the security checks,April-May i don't no.

I am in the same situation (my files may be transferred to Ottawa too in last hour ). Has anyone received any updates from Ottawa on month of june/july/august after VO at Buffalo is closed?

Someone from may 2010 had got ppr from Ottawa.
