Hi, I hope someone can shed some light for us. My husband is trying to earn at least 60 points under the Skilled Worker for NB. The dilemma here is we graduated for our secondary education more than 15 years ago. We did not have the K-12 curriculum before, the K-12 curriculum only existed in my country less than 5 years ago. The documents are still for ECA evaluation and since getting an eval will cost more that $200 we are also having second thoughts with going through ECA if it will just say that our education is not equivalent to a HS diploma in Canada.
"diploma (high school graduation) from a high school (after junior/middle school and
before college, university or other formal training" will give us 15pts.
What do you guys think? Would we be granted the 15pts for education?
