Not trying to be rude, but why would you marry a married man? I understand it is cultural; it is normal in our culture too. I just don't feel comfortable about it.
If you haven't married him, you never lived with him. And he is NOT your common law spouse nor your husband (because he is still married to his "first wife"). Actually as others have stated, you cannot become common law with him as long as he is still married and living with his first wife.
If you have already been accepted as a PR, why would you do that to jeopardize your PR? And there is no ground for you to sponsor him, since he will not be your legally married husband nor common law spouse.
I suggested this to the OP as someone needs to get a better understanding of exactly what is going on here. The forum really isn't the best place to sort out the mess. I predict that the OP is on course for misrepresentation and a potential ban if she doesn't take the right decisions at each step. Certainly a potential 117(9)(d) is looming.
Not sure I understand why OP would still want to sponsor her husband if he is in his first marriage. Also the husband will have to declare his kids in the PR application as non accompanying dependents. He cannot hide the fact he has kids and declaring his kids will lead to declaring the relationship of his first marriage.
