Well, Seattle people, this is my last post for our group. I got my passport request yesterday, and so I'm putting this up as a last bit of info. My timelines went like this:

AOR from Buffalo -- early March
File transferred to Seattle -- late April
File IN PROCESS -- early June, I think
Medical Request -- early June, received in middle of June
Medicals completed -- middle of July
Medicals received -- a week after Medicals Completed, though my ECAS status never changed
Passport request -- a week after the medicals were received (going by the courier service info)

Thoughts -- the medical processing was surprisingly fast. Even though our file was processed in Seattle, and our medical results were sent to Singapore, it only took a week for them to pass, and us to receive an email request with instructions for visa stamping. It's a bit of a surprise, although a pleasant one. Now I have to apologize to my wife -- after the local fortune-teller told her we'd be going to Canada in August (before we'd even received an AOR from Buffalo), I laughed and laughed and went on about how the guy was full of crap, we'd be lucky to get a visa before January. Defeated again by surprisingly accurate local superstitions . . .
