Hi everyone, I have completed my masters in construction management in the UK, I wish to work in Canada. Can anyone give me suggestions regarding visa process and requirements? And is Ielts required as I hold Uk masters degree?
Start here but be aware it is almost impossible to get a job offer from outside of Canada unless someone has unique skill not readily available. Employers are simply not willing to pay the 1000 dollar fee for an LMIA and wait around for months of advertising to ensure no resident is available
And yes everyone applying for Express entry or CEC needs to do IELTS even if an English speaker .Do not believe required (can be corrected) as mandatory for a temporary work permit although obviously pretty hard to exist without English so believe will depend on the assessment by the visa officer based on origin country and job offer requirements .
Note be very wary of so called construction job offers given you will find many posts on this forum highlighting fake construction job offers from fake companies even with fake websites set up for the purpose of scamming an applicant.
