Hi...I’m wondering if I should include in my personal history all the summer breaks that I had while studying in the University? Should I break this 4 years period of studying and mention every summer break I had and indicate my activity type as “unemployed” during this time or would it be more correct to just write down the entire 4 years of studying without highlighting the summer breaks? During the whole time I stayed in my home country. Thanks, any advice would be appreciated!
Hi, if they were only scheduled uni summer breaks and you weren't doing any paid work and you were living in the same country, you can leave it as the whole 4 year period.
But if in that 4 year period you went abroad and did say, an internship, or travelling, or any type of work in between study terms, you have to break it up to show that. I have had a letter back saying mine was wrong because I didn't include when I was away from England (conducting doctoral research) even though I was still enrolled as a UK student that whole time.

Thank you for your response! During that whole 4 years period of studying I never went abroad nor was I doing any paid job and they were just scheduled summer breaks...At first I was going to mention them but I thought it would be kinda wrong to put my status as “unemployed” during those summer breaks because I technically still had a status of a student in my University during those scheduled breaks. So I think I’ll just put the whole 4 years period. Your input is really appreciated!
