Schedule A Background [IMM 5669] question

I am sponsoring my wife who is currently in India.

The form Schedule A - Background [IMM 5669] is said to be filled by her and her parents. So, I understand when she is filling the form, she has to indicate that she is "The principal applicant" but when her parents are filling the form do they also have to indicate that they are "The principal applicant" in the form or can it be left blank?

That form should be filled by only your wife(the principal applicant) and not her parents.

The form India [IMM 3904] stats otherwise. It says Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) - You and each of your family members 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form.

Your family members include your spouse or common-law partner, your dependent children and any children that are their dependent children.


Your parents are not family members for the purpose of completing those forms. You do need to list them on the additional family information form though.
